Panto, acting and music workshops There are two workshops, both of which are free. However there are a limited number of places so please book early to avoid disappointement. If you are interested in being in the pantomime at Easter then you are strongly encouraged to attend. For your own comfort you are advised to wear flat shoes and comfortable clothes. Acting Workshop Topics covered in this workshopinclude characterisation and projection work. Saturday 4th November 10am until 1pm at St. Thomas and St. Andrew’s Church Hall. Music Workshop This workshop will be a creative session using percussion instruments and rhythms. Please feel free to bring any instruments you may have with you. Saturday 11th November 10am until 1pm at the William Sutton Centre.

They now need more adult helpers to ensure further expansion and improvement. If you can spare a couple of hours on a Monday night and are willing to help then, for more information, ring Nigel on 07974 755 685 Mikron Once again the parish church was filled with laughter and applause as the Mikron Theatre Company performed what many believed to be their best play yet. ‘Mrs. Brunel’ did much more than simply report the achievements of the famous engineer. The cast, with wit and pathos, recreated his life and achievements and in the process provided excellent entertainment.
Stafford Film Festival Many Doxey people were involved in the Stafford Film Festival, particularly the filming of the history of the park. The film will be shown for FREE at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, 7.30pm on October 9th. For more information on the film festival please contact Stafford Borough Council.
