The Doxey Arms
A
meeting to explore the future plans for the Doxey Arms was very well
attended. At times things became a little heated as concerns were
expressed about the long term prospects for the building. When the
full plans were explained by the new owner, Richard Dixon, it
appeared that many people were satisfied that the development would
not harm Doxey. The impact of parking in The Crescent was raised and
needs to be addressed by the local authorities. Playgroup tabletop sale at St Thomas and St Andrews Church Hall Sat 24th October 9am to 1pm for the public Doors open 8.30 am for stall holders (tables £4 each) There will be cake and refreshments available. Please
contact Jo 01785 223907 for booking of tables. Excessive numbers of children. Thanks are owed to those parents who are addressing this problem by letting their offspring out at night, on their bikes, without lights.
