Doxey Reunion - 25th October 2009The Event was a great success with well over 120 people there - some coming from as far as London and Essex.

Announcement
Many people will remember that Ray Spurway organised a very successful reunion on the Church Hall in October 2007 when former residents of Doxey came back and shared memories with friends.
On
Sunday 25th October the event will be repeated and it is hoped that
even more people will come with even more photographs
and reminiscences.

interviewed Ray Spurway and Eileen Skelton about the event. It was
broadcast on Friday 23 just before 11.00am on Paula White's Mid-Morning

Eileen Skelton's Doxey Scrapbooks will be making another welcome appearance.
So put the date in your diary, dig out
all the photos and memories and tell all your old friends to come
along on the Sunday afternoon of 25th Oct. to Doxey Church Hall.
And if you are new to the area come along and see what Doxey was like 20, 40, 60 years ago.
We
hope to provide scanning facilities to enable photographs
etc. to be copied and saved. If the owner is agreeable we can
then display these documents on the Doxey website (as was done with
Chris Ball's photographs of the 'old' estate) and If we can get enough
images we will try to make a CD available - at a nominal cost.
